Rotabroach Mag Drill Cutter

Rotabroach’s unique M2 high-speed steel cutter. Designed for low wear and high performance. Perfect for general engineering, construction, and fabrication of material with a hardness of less than 700N/mm².

FEATURES:

• Tighter shank tolerance than other brands. A smaller shank tolerance will reduce cutter concentricity when in rotation thus reducing the chance of breakages
• 20 Degree clearance angle which reduces vibration in hole cutting
• Each cutter has a batch code consisting of Material batch, Heat treatment process, Production process, and Date of manufacture
• M2 material has a hardness of HRC63-65
• Heat treatment – With Step-hardening process. The hardness on the teeth is HRC65-67 while the shank is HRC50-60. This can reduce cutter breakage significantly as it becomes less brittle
• 4.6mm wall thickness (more than other brands) which provides the cutter with more strength.
• A wider dish increases friction which is why Rotabroach has an additional 0.15mm step. This design gives increased strength but with reduced friction. This also gives better swarf
